Color Blending on Handcards

Have you ever wanted just a little bit of color for your spinning or knitting project? Have you ever wanted to spin your own gradi-ent yarn? In this workshop, we will play with blending small amounts of fiber to create just the yarn that you need for your color work projects. We will also work on blending colors to create gradient yarns. We will also play with blending different types of fibers together to create additional color effects.

Participants should bring:

• Hand cards (wool and/or cotton)

• Note-taking supplies

• Spindle or wheel for spinning samples

• Color Blending Fiber Pack — available at WEBS on the day of the workshop for $18

$10 fee for handouts and additional fiber, to be paid to instructor
